Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid SUV and Coupe promise 670hp

Porsche has revealed its new range topping SUV, the new Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid, also available as the more rakish Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupe.

You can find out more details about the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupe and SUV over at Porsche at the link below. Both new models will arrive as part of the 2020 model year. Depending on the selected version, the Lightweight Sport Package saves up to 48 lbs.

First up is the flagship Turbo S E-Hybrid which produces a whopping 680PS and close to 900Nm of torque from its twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 (550PS) from the Cayenne Turbo coupled with the electric motor (136PS). The Cayenne Coupe E-Hybrid costs from £71,424. But that feature also played into the performance of the previous-generation Cayenne Turbo S, which needed 3.8 seconds to reach 60 miles per hour and 12.2 for the quarter-mile, despite boasting 29 more horses from its larger twin-turbo 4.8-liter V-8 and weighing 18 pounds less than this portly 5148-pound five-seater.

This enables the crossover to run from 0-60 miles per hour (0-96 km/h) in 4.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 157 miles per hour (253 km/h).

Porsche today unleashes three new 2020 Cayenne models, two of which will take their places at the top of the standard and coupe ranges. There's also 21-inch alloy wheels hiding ceramic composite brakes, as well as the Sport Chrono package.

The vote, however, is an opportunity to poll voters and determine potential front-runners in the future race. Cristina Fernandez is now facing a series of trials for corruption during her 2007-2015 administration.

The coupé, which is a good $4,000+ dearer than the wagon, comes with some slinky extras, including adaptive rear spoiler, panoramic glass roof (a carbon roof is optional), and "a rear seat bench with the characteristics of two individual seats".

Despite the incredible performance the plug-in hybrid offers the ability of driving on electric power alone for a range of around 40km. This package, which is now available in two forms, adds a wide range of exterior and interior equipment. It pairs a 3.0-liter single-turbo V6 engine and an electric motor, for 455 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.

On the open road, pure electric driving will give you a speed of up to 135km/hr, acceleration from 0-100km/hr in 3.8 seconds and overall a top speed of 295km/hr. There are also Hybrid Auto, Sport, and Sport Plus modes, as well as E-Charge and E-Hold settings, the latter of which maintain the battery pack's state of charge or use the V8 engine to add juice on the go.

The Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe also has a few extra standard features over the standard Cayenne E-Hybrid.

All Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid models are easily distinguishable by the acid green color around their badges and brake calipers.
