'Friends' Episodes to Play in Movie Theaters for 25th Anniversary

Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe, and Joey are once again proving they're the best of friends and returning to a screen near you in time for the show's 25th anniversary - has it really been that long?

The episodes selected for theaters are supposed to be remastered for optimum movie screen viewing.

The special three-night event is called "Friends 25th: The One with the Anniversary", and will include cast interviews and never-before-seen content, according to Fathom Events.

Tickets for Friends 25th: The One With The Anniversary event will be available for purchase starting August 16 via Fathom Events.

The event will be held in more than a thousand theaters in the United States over three nights on September 23, September 28 and October 2. Television group President Lisa Gregorian said in a statement.

Aniston appeared on the series alongside Courteney Cox, 55, Lisa Kudrow, 56, David Schwimmer, 52, Matthew Perry, 49, and Matt LeBlanc, 52, for a decade until its cancellation in 2004.

Created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, Friends debuted on September 22, 1994 and aired for ten seasons.
