CNN Stands Behind Star Anchor Cuomo After 'Fredo' Fight

In the video, which had received more than 540,000 views in its first 90 minutes since being posted Monday evening, an unidentified man calls Mr. Cuomo "Fredo", which prompts the CNN journalist to to say that only "f--ass bitches from the right call me Fredo". "We completely support him", a CNN spokesperson told Fox News.

However, Donald Trump Jr., who was called "Fredo" by CNN's Ana Navarro during an episode of Cuomo's show, tweeted a link to the video from the show and asked "does CNN's head of PR still think "Fredo" is an ethnic slur after watching this?". In the clip, we can hear Cuomo saying that calling an Italian-American "Fredo" is a slur akin to using the N-Word, which has engendered another odd semiotic debate on the Internet. "I'll f-- throw you down these stairs like a f-- punk".

The man, who has been described on social media as a "Trump supporter", repeatedly claimed he thought Cuomo's name was "Fredo", which the anchor responded by calling him a "liar" and told him to "own what you said" and "stand up like a man". Imho Chris Cuomo has zero to apologize for.

Hannity applauded Cuomo, saying the CNN host was the one who "deserves the apology". He told the men, "Punk a** b*****s from the right call me Fredo". However, that innocuous piece of flattery does little to placate the anchor, who says: "If you want to play, we'll f*cking play" and goes on with his rant peppered with profanities. "If you've got something to say about what I do on television then say it".

"I'll f--ing ruin your s--", the "Cuomo Prime Time" anchor replied. "He was a weak brother and they use it as an Italian aspersion".

Sydney incident: Man arrested over stabbing in city centre
Sydney CBD is in lockdown after at least one woman was stabbed at a hotel in the heart of the city. A random dude just started stabbing people in the city right outside where we were having lunch.

"My name is Chris Cuomo". Cuomo asked. "Then take a swing at me".

"Fredo is from the 'Godfather, ' he was a weak brother and the use of it to an Italian is disparaging", he continues. Cuomo - also the son and brother of powerful men, former NY governor Mario and current governor Andrew Cuomo, respectively ― did not push back.

The video instantly went viral, catching the attention of Donald Trump Jr.

He added: "Hey @ChrisCuomo, take it from me, "Fredo" isn't the N word for Italians, it just means you're the dumb brother". Fredo was from The Godfather.
