Nintendo Switch Online July Update and Rewind Feature

Nintendo Switch Online July Update and Rewind Feature

There may not be a lot of games on Nintendo Switch Online's NES library, but what is there is about to get a cool new feature. The two new games are Donkey Kong 3 and Wrecking Crew, both early NES classics.

Nintendo has made an announcement today that a rewind feature is coming to the Nintendo Switch Online's collection. However, the Rewind feature is different in that it will let you rewind to whatever point you want to rewind to, rather than having to choose from one of your Save States, of which you are given a limited number of.

Those games will also be ready on July 17 for all Nintendo Switch Online members.

Beyond the rewind feature though, it's starting to feel like Nintendo's scraping the bottom of the NES barrel.

Warriors Waive Shaun Livingston
Livingston re-signed with the team in July of 2017 on a three-year, $24 million contract. He suffered a horrific knee injury in 2007, which many thought would end his career.

Wrecking Crew: This is another game where Mario and Luigi were moonlighting, as these plumbers continue to have more jobs than Homer Simpson.

Nintendo Switch Online is the Switch's paid online subscription service. Players will be able to activate the feature on Nintendo Switch Online by holding the ZL and ZR buttons while playing a game, giving players a chance to take another shot at a challenging section of a game or give it another shot. Nintendo plans to develop and "improve" Nintendo Switch Online in the future, but no other information is yet accessible.

Also, everyone who buys an Individual 12-Month Membership or a Family Membership to Nintendo Switch Online will receive a download code for exclusive in-game Splatoon 2 gear, based on the jerseys worn by the team that won the Splatoon 2 World Championship during E3 2018.
