400K people join Facebook group to 'storm Area 51'

The event, titled "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us", is inviting users from around the world to join a "Naruto run" - a Japanese manga-inspired running style featuring arms outstretched backwards and heads forward - into the area.

Here's the plan, as per the creator of the event: "We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry".

If you'll be in Nevada on September 20, there's a Facebook event that may pique your interest.

In an effort to obtain objectivity, most news outlets are reporting the straight facts, missing the point that the event is full of alien memes, people asking about the food truck situation for the event, and suggested SnapChat filters.

To be clear, it seems that the event may be a joke, and even supposed attendees acknowledge that.

Multiple injuries reported after fire breaks out at Moscow power plant
The fire started from an explosion at a gas pipeline, adjacent to the plant, which created a tall bursting flare. They labeled the fire an event of Level 3 complexity out of the five available levels.

Area 51 is a mysterious place which is surrounded by numerous theories and myths related to aliens and UFOs, reports CNN. "Let's see them aliens".

A purported plan on the page involves throwing rocks at the "inevitable resistance" and members are told "we can move faster than their bullets".

Will anyone take the "Storm Area 51" Facebook event seriously and actually show up at the heavily-guarded site with 24-hour surveillance?

Since then, however, it has become the subject of numerous UFO sightings and has become inextricably linked in the public's mind with captive aliens and government conspiracies. It is believed that the military uses the base and restricted air space above to develop and test experimental aircraft and weapons systems.

Conspiracy theorists have always been alleging that Area 51, a secretive USA military base located in Nevada, is home to various alien activities.
