Prince Philips birthday: Princess Eugenie's HEARTFELT tribute to her 'Grandpa'

"Unlike most married couples, The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh often live miles apart, with Prince Philip spending hardly any time at Buckingham Palace these days", Charlie Proctor, editor of Royal Central, told Daily Star.

The Royal Family's official Instagram account also shared a birthday message, posting photos of the senior royal at Lady Gabriella Windsor and Thomas Kingston's wedding this year and photographed in 1953 - 66 years ago. "#HappyBirthdayHRH The Duke of Edinburgh was born on this day in 1921", the caption read.

One snap showed the Queen and Prince Philip from 2016, waving to well-wishers at The Patron's Lunch which was held to mark Her Majesty's milestone 90th birthday.

The queen and Philip have four children, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
