Season five of Black Mirror is set to drop on Netflix and, judging by today's new trailer, it's going to be a doozy!

When Black Mirror returned at the very end of 2018, it wasn't with a new series but labyrinthine choose-your-own-morbid-adventure interactive film Bandersnatch.

You should've seen it coming. It's a little hard to parse out the particulars of the three new episodes that are coming this season, but they seem to have a familiar theme to them: Isolation and loneliness in a world where we're supposedly more connected than ever through technology.

Netflix also shared the new trailer for the season, and it looks insane!

Wathing the new teaser, it's not particularly easy to glean plot details about Season 5, but you can pick out certain, shall we say, certainties.

The trailer shows a brief glimpse of each episode which, as per usual, look at the darker side of technology and society.

The Black Mirror Season 5 trailer, which debuted on Wednesday, gives viewers a taste of what's to come for the popular sci-fi anthology series.
