'American Idol': Did Louisiana's Laine Hardy make it to the finals?

American Idol eliminated Laci Kaye Booth and Wade Cota and therefore determined the Top 3 finale contenders during Sunday night's two-hour performance show on ABC.

Helping to determine the next singing sensation are music industry legends and all-star judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Emmy® Award-winning host and producer Ryan Seacrest returns as host of the beloved series. In the live + same day ratings, "Idol" has been averaging a 1.2 rating among adults 18-49 this year, down from its previous season's 1.6 average. The Monday episodes have been earning a 1.5 rating and 8.3 million viewers.

However, "Idol" is still ABC's second-highest-rated unscripted series of the season so far, behind only "The Bachelor", and is one of the network's highest-rated overall shows.

Seacrest has more ties to ABC than just American Idol; he also hosts the daytime talk show Live With Kelly & Ryan.
