First full trailer released for live-action ‘Lion King’

Disney unveiled a new trailer for the "live-action" remake of the 1994 animated classic.

James Earl Jones, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Billy Eichner, Seth Rogen, Alfre Woodard, and John Oliver are the part of the cast ensemble.

Hakuna Matata mania just reached full roar: Disney dropped its first full "The Lion King" trailer Wednesday.

From the look of it, The Lion King will remain near-identical on a per-shot basis, though fans of the original will likely find delight in this re-imagining.

However, many fans may have struggled to recognize The Lion King baddie due to his new look.

"Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance".

Aaron Rodgers reveals tibial fracture he suffered in addition to MCL sprain
We got up, we hugged each other, we told each other that "I love you and I respect you" and then we moved forward together. Given the injuries he was battling, Rodgers' subpar season (by his standards) can be placed in better context.

Although we've still not heard anything from Donald Glover's Simba or Beyoncé Knowles-Carter's Nala - the two parts fans are dying to hear from - we at least got to see a bit more of the handsome animation of the film.

Like director Jon Favreau's previous live-action Disney remake The Jungle Book, The Lion King replaces the original cartoon characters with astonishingly realistic computer-rendered versions.

Simba idolises his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. The clip ends with Timbon and Pumbaa singing "A-weema-weh, a-weema-weh, a-weema-weh, a-weema-weh" from "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".

Under 2 minutes long, it shows off the Pride Rock setting, with glimpses of Simba's childhood friend and love interest Nala as well as new pals Timon and Pumbaa.

When the first teaser for this "Lion King" was released months ago, many social-media commenters sniped that it simply looked like a photorealistic shot-for-shot remake of superior animation.

He's also got a rather menacing voice, bears the signature "scar" above his eye showing his aggressive nature, and shows his evil intentions by lurking in the shadows with the hyenas.
