On Saturday night, YouTube confirmed the official record, which is now set at 78 million.

BTS made history on Saturday night, becoming the first K-pop group to perform as a musical guest on "Saturday Night Live". The song dropped with the rest of their new album, Map of Your Soul: Persona, on Friday.

BTS and Blackpink fans are reportedly at war over K-pop bragging rights.
