Beyoncé's surprise Homecoming album includes unexpected bonus tracks

Beyonce has released a surprise live album on the same day a documentary about her Coachella headlining show is released. This time, the documentary captures the conception and execution of her star-studded, HBCU-theme Coachella set, which made her the first Black woman ever to headline the festival. Beyonce included a studio cover of Frankie Beverly and Maze's 1981 song, "Before I Let Go", which she covered while in Destiny's Child back in 1997.

Homecoming: The Live Album was released overnight across streaming platforms such as Spotify, Google Play, Apple Music and Tidal. Beyoncé's two hour performance-which featured members of her former girl-group Destiny's Child, Jay-Z, her sister Solange, over 100 backup dancers, and a brass band-received rave reviews.

The live album features the full setlist from Beyoncé's iconic Coachella performance, including tracks like "Crazy in Love", "Formation", "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It) and "Drunk in Love".

"Rewatching it on film a year later, "high water mark in 21st century entertainment" actually nearly feels like it's underselling it".

I was positive, I told them, that Trump would never be the Republican nominee, let alone be elected president. Unfortunately for partisans, the report will likely disappoint both sides, and will bore everyone else.

The highly-anticipated film presents behind-the-scenes footage and interviews from before, during and after the show.

Fans were similarly enthusiastic, with A Wrinkle In Time director Ava DuVernay writing on Twitter: "Gah!" "There were days I thought I would never be the same", she says, according to The Hollywood Reporter. So many moves to try in one's mirror.

"The singing superstar announced the news by tweeting a picture of the album cover and writing simply: "#HOMECOMING out now".
