Play DEAD OR ALIVE 6 for Free With the Core Fighters Edition

Play DEAD OR ALIVE 6 for Free With the Core Fighters Edition

If you've never tried a DOA game before, now would be the ideal time to try, and the four characters in the free version offer a broad range of play-styles.

As of right now, Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters lets you play as Kasumi, Hitomi, Diego, and Bass. In addition, DOA6's introduction to Story mode will be unlocked, along with DOA Central, the hub for everything from wardrobe and music to the library and theater. You'll be able to take on players in online Ranked battles. That being said, I am frustrated and wary that this version of the game released only two weeks after the base game that cost $60 and had a $93 Season Pass at launch.

There will be plenty of modes available, allowing players to get a real taste of the Dead or Alive 6 experience. According to Koei Tecmo, this update adds more hard DOA Quests, some new victory and entrance animations, and tweaks how many costume parts are earned for individual tasks.

Play a (Stripped Down Version of) Dead or Alive 6 for Free

Dead or Alive 6: Core Fighters is available via PlayStation Store for PS4, via Microsft Store for Xbox One, via Steam for PC.

While the latter, known as the Happy Wedding Pack Vol. 1, adds a grand total of thirteen new and thematically appropriate costumes. As you can see from the trailer. Read the full patch notes for Dead or Alive 6 Update 1.02 for the full details. Any and all support helps keep DualShockers as a standalone, independent platform for less-mainstream opinions and news coverage.
