Lori Loughlin Released on $1 Million Bond After Alleged College Bribery Scam

Golfer Phil Mickelson says he is among "thousands" who used a college consulting company accused of orchestrating a massive bribery scheme. While Felicity Huffman spent $15,000 to get her daughter to be able to cheat on the college entrance exam, Lori Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli paid $500,000 to get their daughters "recruited" to be on the crew team.

"I don't know how much of school I'm gonna attend", she told her almost 2 million subscribers, after delving into her extensive work schedule. "I want to be supportive of everything they want to do, but I do want them to have somewhat of a normal [life]".

Of course, Olivia previously caught heat after admitting in an August 2018 YouTube video, "I do want the experience of game days, partying".

"Will not affiliate with negative cheaters; will toss all my current Sephora; remove this affiliation with Olivia jade before I purchase more", wrote one commenter.

Gianna and Olivia have been friends for quite some time, occasionally posting photos of them together on social media. Prosecutors in the U.S. attorney's office in Boston say his company, Edge College & Career Network, made $25 million since embarking on the fraud in 2011, offering what he promised was a "guarantee" of admission.

And to put the cherry on top of the sundae, Giannulli tweeted just last month how much she'd rather be making videos on YouTube than sitting through a college class. Days later, she apologized in a follow-up video while calling what she'd said "stupid" and "ignorant".

Immediately after the news broke, Hewlett-Packard cut ties with both Lori Loughlin and her Instagram-famous daughter, Olivia Jade, releasing a statement that they had removed their previous collaborations from "all their properties".

The DUP was equally unimpressed, with Nigel Dodds, its deputy leader, calling the proposal "neither realistic nor sensible". The Daily Mirror says Mrs May's defeat was "humiliating" and her authority has been left "in tatters".

On Instagram, she posted a picturesponsored by Smile Direct Club, an online seller of orthodontic retainers, saying, "For back-to-school season, I've been using a doctor-directed, at-home invisible aligner treatment with @SmileDirectClub". It's been a few weeks since I moved into my dorm and I absolutely love it. I bought this in hopes it would help me get into college. And it totally came across that I'm ungrateful for college - I'm going to a really nice school.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Olivia and her parents have since been slammed on social media over the matter.

USC has not released information on what specific actions would be taken as a result of the review.

Wanda M. Austin, USC's interim president, also said in a recent letter to the school community that the university had been victimized by rogue employees.

Representatives of accused parents either declined to comment or did not respond to inquiries.
