Gordon, Paul helps Rockets top Mavericks 94

The Houston Rockets are finally suiting up a healthy squad, James Harden has another 30-point streak brewing and on Sunday the Rockets will shoot for a season-best eight-game win streak when they visit the struggling Dallas Mavericks.

Dallas' other rookie guard, second-round pick Jalen Brunson, kept the team within striking distance most of the game with a career-high 34 points on an efficient 12-of-16 shooting, including 3 of 6 from long range.

Three times late in the fourth quarter Dallas got within three points, including 97-94, when Bertans responded with a dagger 3-pointer for the Spurs.

For the remainder of this season, the Mavs are left to make do with rookie-of-the-year favorite Luka Doncic and a roster full of players who've typically come off the bench.

Harden picked up his fifth personal 20 seconds into the second half when Doncic took a charge. Immediately, Harden drove and completed a three-point play and then drained a step-back 3, just his third on 15 attempts, for a 79-70 lead.

He first injured his wrist last Sunday in a win over the Boston Celtics and aggravated it during a seventh consecutive win for the Rockets.

"The ball is in his hand basically at all times when he's out there, and it's a load", Dirk Nowitzki said. "In the back of my mind, I'm conscious and keep thinking about it". "Going into playoffs, you've got to have that type of mentality of being resilient".

Earl Thomas to sign with Baltimore Ravens
Ingram will leave the New Orleans Saints to sign a three-year, $15 million deal in Baltimore, Schefter said. The addition of Ingram gives Baltimore another running back option to help out quarterback Lamar Jackson .

Doncic limped off the court for a timeout with 4:17 to play, but he stayed in the game.

"I don't know if he banged his knee or he landed on it amusing, but the hope is that it's not serious", Carlisle said. Carlisle said he either banged his knee or landed on it awkwardly.

"It's just a mental thing", Doncic said of his foul shooting after spending more than an hour postgame shooting in the American Airlines Center practice court.

Doncic wasn't available after the game.

Nowitzki did not play in the second half, something Carlisle called "a coach's decision because the matchups were very hard".

Mavericks: Maxi Kleber returned after missing the last two games with left knee trouble. In a February 22 victory over Panama, he had 26 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the field and made 6 of 11 shots from 3-point range. He had 10 points and a career-high 11 rebounds.

Rockets: Start a four-game homestand Monday against Charlotte.
