Desperate Housewives' Felicity Huffman charged in USA fraud case

Prosecutors said parents paid an admissions consultant from 2011 through last month to bribe coaches and administrators to label their children recruited athletes to boost their chances of getting into college.

At the heart of this case is parents. The children, generally, did not realize their admission was due to a bribe. Huffman was arrested on Tuesday and released on a $250,000 bond.

She is scheduled to reappear in court March 29 in Boston. In the show, Loughlin's character Aunt Becky got mad at her husband, Uncle Jesse (John Stamos) when he tried to perform a scam so his children could get into an elite preschool.

A case-by-case review will be conducted for students who are already enrolled at USC and may be connected to the scheme.

Prosecutors said it was up to the universities to decide what to do with students admitted through cheating.

It was unclear how many children benefited from the scheme, though investigators said more parents and coaches may yet be charged. Singer helped pay individuals money to take the exams or help improve their scores after.

Documents say Riddell took entrance exams for students or replaced their answers with his own.

Prosecutors say the organisations effectively worked as a single enterprise to get students into college using fake athletics credentials.

Mr Lelling said it was the largest college admissions scam to be prosecuted by the Department of Justice.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection Comes To PC And Steam
Most importantly though (in my opinion), 343 also confirmed that Halo: Reach will be added to The Master Chief Collection as well. Each of the titles in the series will then follow in chronological order, from 2001's Halo: Combat Evolved to 2012's Halo 4 .

Lelling said the investigation is continuing and authorities believe other parents were involved.

Actress Felicity Huffman allegedly gave $15,000 "to participate in the college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of her oldest daughter", the indictment states. Macy was mentioned in the case but not charged.

Loughlin and her husband, fashion entrepreneur Mossimo Giannuli, allegedly paid $500,000 to have their two daughters designated as members of the USC rowing team, even though they did not row.

Gordon Caplan, co-chairman of NY law firm Willkie Farr & Gallagher, allegedly paid $75,000 to have his daughter's test grades fixed.

The actor, who starred in the movie "Fargo" and now appears on TV in "Shameless", made the comments two months before his wife, Felicity Huffman, was among more than 30 parents charged in a sweeping college admissions bribery scam.

The couple allegedly agreed to the plan.

"But once he gets here, he just goes, he doesn't go to athletic orientation, He goes to the regular orientation like all my other kids just did. and everything's fine".

Meantime, officials at universities including Yale, Stanford and Georgetown must now examine criminal claims made against key staffers, some of whom already have part ways.
