The annual celebration involves different events around the world, many involving pie in honor of Pi.

As a result, several restaurants locally and nationwide are celebrating Pi Day with pie, from the delicious dessert to the savory Italian kind.

Pi Day is celebrated every March 14 (yes, on 3-14), to celebrate both the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter and the birthday of Albert Einstein.

Bojangles': The famed fried chicken fast food joint will offer three sweet potato pies for $3.14. While some of the biggest pizza chains, like Domino's and Pizza Hut, aren't hosting Pi Day 2019 deals per se, they always have tons of discounts available. Always check with your favorite location to make sure they are participating.

Hungry Howie's is selling a medium, one-topping carryout pizza for $3.14 with any bread purchase. You must buy one chicken pot pie and a drink to get the free pot pie. The deal can't be combined with other offers though and is limited to one pie per customer, no topping modifications are allowed.
