Book claims Ivanka Trump told Cohn her father wasn't racist following Charlottesville

"Kushner, Inc.", a new book about Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump has revealed more details about the chaos swirling around the White House when President Donald Trump chose to fire former FBI Director James Comey.

Ivanka Trump was reported to want to establish a Trump dynasty to rival the Kennedy or Bush families and that includes becoming president herself.

But Ivanka and Jared, both senior advisers to the president, have outlasted any attempts to force them out of Washington, and Ward writes that Trump's desire to have them gone fluctuates.

The book, the Times reported, said that in his meeting with Ivanka Trump, Cohn was "shocked" by her reaction to his concerns and that she told him of her father's comments, "That's not what he said".

The Kushner camp has pushed back on Ward's book, calling it a piece of "fiction".

The White House senior advisers Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's daughter and son-in-law, have sought to assert some authority over flights funded by the State Department.

The book discusses the upbringings of both Ivanka Trump and Kushner and the initial skepticism by the parents on both sides, mostly for religious reasons, about their marriage, according to The Times.

Paul Manafort Indicted in New York After Federal Sentencing
Paul Manafort has been charged in a new criminal case not even an hour after learning his prison sentence for federal crimes. One criticism that Judge Ellis made during the sentencing hearing in Virginia was that Manafort did not appear remorseful.

Ward countered on Twitter "the 220 people I interviewed for the book might beg to disagree".

According to "Kushner Inc.", Ivanka frequently asked to travel on Air Force planes when it was not always necessary.

Both children now serve as advisers to Trump, and Kushner has been tasked with diplomacy in the Middle East, while Ivanka Trump has focused on advancing paid family leave policies.

Former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson reportedly blamed Kushner for Trump's endorsement of a blockade of Qatar by Saudi Arabia, and told him that "his interference had endangered the USA".

Ivanka reportedly found a work-around by inviting cabinet-level officials to the trip, The Times reported, citing the book.

Nevertheless, the couple is said to have big ambitions, with Ivanka allegedly envisioning a Trump presidential dynasty. In November 2018, First Lady Melania Trump was reportedly in a spat with deputy national security adviser Mira Ricardel over travel arrangements during the first lady's maiden overseas trip to Africa.

"Every point that Ms. Ward mentioned in what she called her "fact checking" stage was entirely false", Kushner's lawyer, Abbe Lowell, relayed in a statement. The author, on her own website, listed this book in the category of "fiction" - until recently changing it. "Correcting everything wrong would take too long and be pointless".
