Ariana Grande and Starbucks announce new drink the Cloud Macchiato

How does Ariana Grande fit in to this? In addition to the new beverage, Starbucks will introduce a playlist featuring Grande's songs, and music she's fond of, on International Women's Day.

Grande has been a past client of Rock Lititz, as have artists like Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

The Cloud Macchiato isn't the only new menu item coming to the coffee chain.

'The texture of the Cloud Macchiato is luxurious and by adding espresso and our Starbucks signature caramel cross-hatch, we're making it ours and opening up even more ways we can bring new beverage experiences to our customers'.

Ariana Grande Gets Her Own Specialty Drink & Playlist At Starbucks

Which. oh Ms. Grande, that's not how you spell the name of the town. Either way, we are excited for whatever Starbucks has in store for us, especially if it means a collaboration with Ariana Grande. Here's hoping the rehearsals - and the coffee - go down smoothly. The Cloud drink, which is available in cinnamon and caramel flavors and can be served iced or hot, is similar, but the difference can largely be found in the milk product, which a Starbucks press release referred to as "a cloud of cold milk foam that's light and smooth". Regardless of what the company says, some feel Starbucks and Grande are putting the full force of capitalism behind a day meant to honor women and their accomplishments. Do you think Starbucks is working on a special menu inspired by Grande?

Tuesday the company also released other new drinks for spring, including a matcha green tea latte, iced latte or creme frappuccino and a cold brew with cascara cold foam.

Starbucks' newest beverage might just have have you on cloud nine.

"We've always been fans of Ariana Grande's (and we're both fans of Clouds), so we're excited to work with her to celebrate the debut of Cloud Macchiato", Starbucks told USA Today over how the fluffy drink came to brew.
