Spike Lee Will Follow 'BlacKkKlansman' with 'Da 5 Bloods' Starring Chadwick Boseman

Variety reports the film is Da 5 Bloods, which finds Lee returning to the war film after Miracle at St. Anna, this time the Vietnam War. There are also rumors that Samuel L. Jackson, Giancarlo Esposito, and Don Cheadle would join the cast, but it seems unlikely since there are only four male leads. I was told he chopped down the cherry tree and wouldn't tell a lie.

BlacKkKlansman co-scribe Kevin Wilmott is writing the script with Lee. Matthew Billingsly also had a hand in the script. Lee will also produce with Beatriz Levin & Lloyd Levin, and Jon Kilik.

After earning his first Best Director and Best Picture nomination with BlacKkKlansman, the prolific Spike Lee is showing no signs of slowing down. Delroy Lindo ("Broken Arrow", "Malcolm X") and Jean Reno ("Ronin", "The Da Vinci Code") are set to co-star with Boseman.

Spike Lee has used his speaking platform to counter the President's rhetorical views, and his films to wax about his philosophical stance on Culture in America.

Welp, we now know nearly everything about Samsung's Galaxy S10 lineup
The Galaxy S10 and S10 + are listed with Gorilla Glass 6 while the S10e gets a Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The handsets will also be capable of recording videos in 4K from the 10MP selfie camera at the front.

Lee plans to start shooting next month once awards season is over and he can abandon the campaign trail to return behind the camera.

Boseman is quite in demand as well, coming off last year's Black Panther, the highest-grossing film of 2018 at the domestic box office, and just the third movie ever to crack $700 million domestic. The Marvel star who made his name playing Jackie Robinson and James Brown will soon be seen in Avengers: Endgame and the STX thriller 17 Bridges.

Lee is repped by ICM Partners and attorney Robert Strent at Grubman Shire Meiselas & Sacks and Boseman is repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency, Management 360 and Ziffren Brittenham.
