See the first look at Will Smith's blue Genie in Aladdin trailer

Will Smith stunned Grammys viewers Sunday night as he made one of his first appearances as the Genie from "Aladdin" - but this time, with a shocking blue look. Could Will Smith end up providing a performance just as good as the original?

Will Smith's Genie looked like an ordinary guy in the first images we saw of Disney's new live-action Aladdin.

The blueness of the genie seems to sit in opposition to previous studio-released looks of Smith in full genie getup, which feature a decidedly less-blue skin tone. The film stars Will Smith as the Genie; Mena Massoud as Aladdin; Naomi Scott as Jasmine; Marwan Kenzari as Jafar; Navid Negahban as the Sultan; Nasim Pedrad as Dalia; Billy Magnussen as Prince Anders; and Numan Acar as Hakim. In the EW article, Ritchie described Smith's transformed look as "a muscular 1970s dad".

"You really don't know who I am?" "There hasn't been a lot of that hip-hop flavor in Disney history".
