Roger Stone argues against gag order, says he's no Kim Kardashian

Tucker Carlson aired and narrated the FBI's raid on Roger Stone's home during his show Friday night. She was referring to several post-indictment talk show appearances Stone made, attacking special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation as politically motivated. He is accused of one count of obstructing an official proceeding, five counts of false statements, and one count of witness tampering. Yet, Stone said he was still shocked when he opened the door. It looks like a high-stakes raid, but CNN's cameraman is still 40 feet away filming it all. Owned by 21st Century Fox, FNC is available in more than 90 million homes and dominates the cable news landscape, routinely notching the top ten programs in the genre. Behind the property, a boat arrives with at least two agents on board.

Within minutes, Stone exits his home to greet the agents who have their rifles pointed at him. He comes out with his hands raised above his head and is put in handcuffs. It's just after 6:00 in the morning.

Stone objected to the proposal via his attorneys, arguing that public comment on politics and men's fashion is his job, so a gag order would interfere with his ability to earn a living. Twenty minutes later, the same camera shows agents leading Roger Stone back into his house. "By contrast, Roger Stone has no Twitter account at all and, thus has no Twitter followers", Stone said.

Yellow vests look to capitalize on protest momentum
Macron's popularity has nosedived since the protests kicked off past year in response to a planned fuel tax. A man was being held for questioning over the blaze, Paris prosecutors said.

"I am aware of that and it was deeply concerning to me as to how CNN found out about that", Whitaker said. "Because if it was given through normal channels, every media outlet would have been there, but only one was".

Stone noted that Judge Berman Jackson said last week, "Right now, not-withstanding the fact that the defendant may be well known within certain circles, I believe that we will be able to seat an unbiased jury, that doesn't have an opinion about the allegations of this case".
