Meghan Markle's Father Shares Alleged Letter From the Duchess

The British outlet also revealed Thomas' response, which touches on his heart attack (the reason he missed the wedding) and hints at a possible disagreement between him and Prince Harry.

Palace aides are understood to be considering whether to take a stand over the very public family disclosures, taking legal advice before the Duchess decides whether she wishes to take formal action.

The Duchess' estranged half-sister has said her father.

Thomas Markle published the five-page letter from the Duchess of Sussex at the weekend after close pals of Meghan gave interviews to a U.S. magazine. I made her the duchess she is today. "I came by there one day, and she had ordered an incredible ice-cream and sorbet stand for the office", the insider revealed.

Until evidence proves us wrong, we'd like to believe the latter, that Meghan is in fact, not hard to work with and that her work ethic is just one that many are still acclimatising to or something along those lines. Please allow us to live our lives in peace.

Apparently, Meghan's bombshell five-page letter, sent in August a year ago, lays bare the true depths of the Duchess's estrangement from her father.

But at the weekend Thomas published extracts of the said letter - sent in August months after the Royal Wedding - and hit back at Meghan, describing the letter as "a dagger to my heart". In the letter, Meghan wrote that her father broke her heart "into a million pieces" by criticising her marriage to Prince Harry. "You've told the press that you called me to say you weren't coming to the wedding - that didn't happen because you never called". Every time it gets cold like this, I take them to the guard stations.

"On a daily basis you fixated and clicked on the lies they were writing about me, especially those manufactured by your other daughter, who I barely know".

She also accused her father of not reaching out to her after the wedding, and not letting her know that he wasn't attending. "Please stop lying, please stop creating so much pain, please stop exploiting my relationship with my husband", Meghan wrote, according to her father.

Kensington Palace declined to comment on the letter.

"When I opened the letter I was hoping it was the olive branch I'd longed for", he said. "You sent me an email last October that said: 'If I've depended too much on you for financial help then I'm sorry but please if you could help me more not as a bargaining chip for my loyalty".
