George Clooney defends Duchess of Sussex

Although the racist undertones that come into play with the Duchess of Sussex didn't exist in this story - and neither did social media - there was a very real sense of bullying by the press and constant rumors of feuding between Sarah, Duchess of York, and Diana, Princess of Wales.

If you love me, as you tell the press you do, please stop.

Meghan and Harry's outing comes just one day after the expectant royal was defended by George Clooney, who attended the pair's wedding a year ago.

Despite previous reports of his close relationship with the Royal couple, Clooney went on to dismiss suggestions he could be godfather to their unborn child.

Harry and his elder brother Prince William, the second in line to the throne, have had a strained relationship with the press since their mother, Princess Diana, was killed in a vehicle crash in Paris in 1997 while being chased by paparazzi on motorbikes.

He added, "We've seen how that ends", alluding to the auto accident that claimed the life of the princess in 1997.

In a 2017 BBC documentary, William described paparazzi who followed her as "a pack of dogs" that "followed her, chased her, harassed her, called her names, spat at her, trying to get a reaction, to get that photograph of her lashing out".

In Beijing, foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying said failure to properly register was a breach of regulations. John Nicholson, CEO of industry body Aviation New Zealand described the incident as "very unusual".

And Clooney, 57, leaped to defend his friend, saying history was repeating itself in the case of the Duchess and Diana, warning "we've seen how that ends".

Meghan Markle has been challenged to take a lie detector test by her half-sister after her bombshell letter to their dad was revealed.

The letter shows how Meghan, 37, begged him to stop his "painful" public attacks on her "kind and patient" husband.

Thomas Markle Snr says the letter was sent by his daughter.

"I do want to say, they're just chasing Meghan Markle everywhere", Clooney told World Health Organization magazine during an interview in Los Angeles.

However, this recent scandal is the one that may have possibly pushed her over the edge when it comes to her family, and a source said that she isn't planning on releasing a comment about her father leaking her private letter because she doesn't want to make things worse.

Many have drawn parallels between her relationship with Princess Diana and Meghan Markle's with Kate Middleton, with some going so far as to allude to it being the motivation behind her heartfelt letter.
