BBC Cameraman Shoved at Trump El Paso Rally

A BBC cameraman, assaulted during a speech by US President Donald Trump, was the victim of an "incredibly violent attack", it has been claimed.

The man then proceeded to push Mr Skeans before being wrestled away by a man in a black shirt who was also wearing a red Make America Great Again cap. It later refocuses and shows an individual sporting a MAGA hat being detained, before yelling out, "F**k the media".

"I'm afraid this statement from the Trump campaign does nothing to address the security lapses at President Trump's rally in El Paso last night when our BBC colleague was attacked".

BBC Washington producer Eleanor Montague and Washington correspondent Gary O'Donoghue were sitting in front of the camera. Trump has had a contentious relationship with reporters throughout his presidency and previously referred to the media as "the true enemy of the people".

"I didn't know what was going on", Skeans told BBC.

The BBC's Washington Correspondent, Gary O'Donoghue, tweeted the shocking video on Twitter.

The Donald Trump supporter could be seen being restrained after the incident.
