Police are searching for three suspects of mall shooting in the US.

The mall said in a tweet it was "very saddened by the incident" and grateful for the actions of security and Murray police. "The shopping center is now closed".

According to KUTV, three suspects were described as Hispanic males. They were wearing dark trousers with light-colored hoodies or sweatshirts, he added.

The male and female victims were taken to Intermountain Medical Center. The man was in critical condition while the woman was in serious.

"We do not know their identities, we have descriptions of them", Murray Police Det.

Bass said there are three suspects who are still at large.

"At this point, there are officers still looking for them", Bass told KSL.

Witnesses shared video on social media of loud noises and people running throughout the building. "We were outside of the store for maybe a minute while people were leaving, and we heard what sounded like gunshots". She said 10 to 12 employees and around 20 customers hid in the store's upstairs stockroom. "Women and children are getting trampled, especially little kids".

Multiple agencies responded to the shooting including from West Jordan, Salt Lake City, Herriman, Sandy and others, according to KSL Newsradio's Kira Hoffemeyer. He also mentioned having seen police running towards Red Rock Brewing Company holding assault rifles.

Additional details regarding the nature of the incident were not available at the time of this report.
