R. Kelly's streams increase after docu-series alleges abuse

As tensions continue to grow after the release of the Lifetime docu-series, Surviving R. Kelly, alleged instances of brainwashing and hostage continue to surface.

R. Kelly's lawyer spoke out in defense of the "I Believe I Can Fly" singer in a pre-taped interview on ABC's "Good Morning America" this morning.

In a new interview with The Associated Press, Kelly's attorney Steve Greenberg denied all allegations of sexual misconduct involving women and underage girls.

According to reports, Kelly has not watched the documentary series and is said to be "disgusted" by the charges levelled against him.

In the docuseries "Surviving R. Kelly," R. Kelly's relationship with the late, great singer Aaliyah was explored with his former bodyguard saying he witnessed the two get married. But an IL prosecutor's plea for potential victims and witnesses to come forward has sparked hope among some advocates that the R&B star might face new charges.

Phil Masinga, former South Africa and Leeds United star, dies at 49
Masinga's former Leeds team-mates also paid emotional tributes to the striker. " Football will never forget you. He was in the team in 1992 when South Africa played its first game after being allowed back into global soccer.

"We can not seek justice without you", Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx said this week at a news conference. Producer Dream Hampton said she was "at war" with Kelly.

Reuters was unable independently to verify the accusations in the documentary and could not immediately reach prosecutors for comment. In 2008, although authorities charged Kelly with 21 counts of child pornography, Kelly became acquitted of all charges.

Greenberg has said that the documentary proved nothing.

Kannie Yu LaPack, a spokeswoman for Lifetime, said: "The women's stories speak for themselves". Kelly's estranged daughter, Joann Kelly, whose stage name is Buku Abi, called him a "monster" in a post on Instagram on Thursday, though she did not make any allegations.
