HTC announces Vive Pro Eye and Vive Cosmos VR headsets

As the name suggests, this new headset is bringing eye integration into the mix, improving performance for both the company and consumers.

The company unveiled a new Vive Pro Eye headset, which has eye tracking features built directly in, eliminating the need for external controllers.

There haven't been any updates on pricing yet, but it will be supported with the Vive, Rift, and Focus. Navigation is undertaken with the Vive controllers, which will be in their second-generation for the launch of the Cosmos. However, VR enthusiasts will no doubt begin tinkering with it once it's available and begin to reveal some of the gaming applications of the headset, which we're excited to see.

The Vive Cosmos will run the Vive Reality System, a redesign of the Vive software that will make moving between VR experiences more seamless than before. The Taiwanese company has introduced a new variant of the Vive Pro known as the Vive Pro Eye.
