PUBG is free on the Xbox One for a limited time

PUBG is expected to land on Sony's console sometime in December.

Back in September, a ratings leak in Korea potentially revealed a December 2018bPlayStation 4 release for PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

When it left Xbox One's Game Preview program back in September, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds arrived with all the bombast of a console-exclusive - there were console bundles, Xbox One Wireless Controllers and a new map. A PSNProfiles user says that Sony's servers have updated with the game's title picture and content ID.

For those of you who aren't aware, PUBG is a battle royale multiplayer phenomenon made by Brendan Greene, whom is arguably the godfather of battle royale games today with his official mods for both DayZ and Arma III. The poster also includes high-quality promotional images that look to be pulled directly from the PlayStation Store.

Nokia 9 Renders Previewed Featuring Five Camera Setup
The power button and volume rocker are seen on the right, while the bottom shows a USB Type-C port and a single speaker grille. Other specifications of the Nokia 9 include a 5.9-inch display boasting a QHD resolution and will have an 18:9-inch panel.

The other game Xbox One users can download on the house is Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, the latest game in the long-running series from Konami.

And finally, in terms of PUBG, the game's inaugural esports season has been announced for this January.

On Monday, Xbox tweeted that there was big news on the way about PUBG. You'd think a game that's barely two months old wouldn't even be discounted in a sale, let alone offered for free, but hey, we're not complaining.
