Not Real Madrid, Arsene Wenger likely to return coaching with AC Milan

France Football report that he has been in negotiations with Milan for weeks, and an agreement has almost been reached to replace Gennaro Gattuso as coach.

Arsene Wenger has categorically denied that he is in talks to take up a managerial position with Serie A giants AC Milan, labelling such a notion as "fake news".

On the other hand, Saint-Germain, are also planning to recruit Wenger as the club's sporting director.

It is said that they've been in talks with Wenger over the past few weeks.

However, the former Arsenal boss has insisted such claims are ill-informed.

"If I had signed somewhere I would tell you but that's wrong".

I know that, the coaches know that, everybody knows that". "That conversation between me and him, that's where it will stay". Jones, 30, wasn't the first football star to leave mid-game in recent weeks.

'I cannot master the rumours, I can only master what I do in my life.

Wenger boss has been without a job since he called time on his 22-year stay with Arsenal - but he hinted last week he is set to return to the dugout. "He proved it for many years", he said.

The 69-year-old recently said he planned to return to management "at the beginning of 2019".

"I got a good rest".

"But at the moment I can not tell you [about my future] because I don't know". I will work next year again, where, honestly - you know I will tell you the truth - I don't know.

Wenger previously said he planned to make his return in January, but did not rule out taking up a boardroom role or coaching job with an global side.
