Asus ZenFone 6 leak shows the most peculiar notch we've ever seen

In a new twist on the design, the ASUS Zenfone 6 has appeared in a leaked photo sporting a corner notch. There also seems to be a fingerprint sensor sitting under the dual camera module. This style places a notch for the front camera on the right top edge of the screen, between the signal indicator and the battery indicator. Is this a trend you'd like to see more of?

There's a lot of variety when it comes to notches these days - you've got the wide (iPhone) notch, the tiny (Essential/Sharp) notch, the huge (Pixel 3) notch, the waterdrop notch, and so on - but the common denominator between all of them is that they are centered. A few alleged photos and a purported hands-on video of the ZenFone 6 (2019) show an offset display notch to overcome the requirement of the traditional notch design. The display camera hole approach seems to be becoming more and more popular, as a number of smartphone manufacturers seem to be planning to implement it in the near future. On the rear, the ZenFone 6 leak reveals a dual rear-facing camera setup and a fingerprint sensor. It's clearly an early prototype, as you can see the build quality is far from stellar, but it looks to be in fully working order - next to a ZenFone 5Z for reference. It is still unclear what will the name of that SoC be, either the Snapdragon 8150 or Snapdragon 855, but one thing is for sure, that processor will become official before the end of the year, as we will start seeing devices ship with that SoC in the first quarter of next year.

The NFL x Fortnite collab also includes football-themed emotes, harvesting tools, gliders and a referee outfit. In case you missed it, Fortnitemares' Finale just happened in-game, and it was pretty insane .

Rest of the Zenfone 6's design seems to be pretty inspired by the OnePlus 6.
