Terry's Chelsea return down to him, says Sarri

Terry's Chelsea return down to him, says Sarri

Worldwide football should be played at the end of every campaign rather than on specific dates throughout the club season, according to Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri.

Getting the 18-year-old game time at Chelsea is not as easy for Sarri, but he remains a player the Blues boss is keen to utilise at some stage of the season.

"They are an ambitious club and I have been very impressed with their professionalism".

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has waxed lyrical over David Luiz - insisting the Brazilian has a "big future" at Stamford Bridge. Of course I am open [to having] him because of his history with the club.

"If there is a pitch and there are 11 players, I feel at home anywhere", Sarri said.

"I said before I want to give space to the young players", Sarri added.

They both agreed that incessantly being in the public eye is the most stressful and emotionally draining part of being a Royal. The 53-year-old criticised Meghan for being "inhumane" to their father Thomas Markle who had "given her everything".

"He told me he wants to play but I don't know, I have to speak to him".

Chelsea's ideal start to the season has led to suggestions they can challenge for the title after finishing fifth last term, well adrift of champions Manchester City.

Maurizio Sarri has dismissed Chelsea's chances of winning the title this season and believes it will be a straight fight between Manchester City and Liverpool.

"I think so. I hope not". I'm really very happy. "It's very hard. The gap was 30 points at the beginning of the season". With the likes of Cesc Fabregas and Ross Barkley also on Sarri's books, it would be tough for Ruben Loftus-Cheek to make an impact this term.

"The feeling is always that we will win, and this is a great feeling, because I've been playing football for many, many years and if you feel that way every day, it means you're in the right place".

"But the Premier League is very competitive, other teams have a lot of good players and it will not be easy".
