How Arsenal could line up against Newcastle United

Unai Emery has called on Mesut Ozil not to shy away from meeting his demands.

Ozil ended his global career after the World Cup, citing "racism and disrespect" over his Turkish roots.

"[We get on] very well", Emery said.

And speaking ahead of this weekend's Premier League clash with Newcastle, Emery opened up on where his relationship with Ozil now stands. We are going to work with four players.

Rafa Benitez explains why Newcastle's Premier League stats aren't "real" - yetAnd after securing their first away win of the season at the Cardiff City Stadium two weeks ago, Emery is targeting a victory against Newcastle but insists it will be a hard.

Emery discussed how the experienced defender has progressively improved since his time in Spain, highlighting just why he remains an integral part of his plans at Arsenal. "I want to be demanding to prepare for this match - Mesut the same".

He said: "We are ready but this is going to be one of the biggest ones to ever hit our country". This is the third time SC has had to cancel a game due to weather in the last four years.

"The reason is that I am very happy with the last two victories in the Premier League and also with the performances and I want to push every player to be okay to help the team if for one minute, 30 minutes or half time or 90 minutes".

Emery insists he has had no talks about Gazidis leaving.

Here for me it isn't for a lot of the time speaking about what people are telling us.

"This is the moment to say to you that I have a good relationship with Mesut and I didn't say it to the groundsman not to water on the pitch, it's not true". I look at him with the focus totally here.

Meanwhile, Emery has been left guessing whether Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis - the man who identified him as Arsene Wenger's successor - will jump ship to join AC Milan. However, I think we'll see him keep his place at the heart of midfield this weekend.

First, I knew Nacho Monreal in Spain when he was playing in Osasuna and in Malaga.
