Elizabeth Tulloch to Play Lois Lane in CW’s ‘Arrow’-verse Crossover

According to Deadline, ex-Grimm lead Elizabeth Tulloch is hitting The CW's streets as the award-winning Daily Planet reporter.

Lois Lane has finally arrived to The CW. Tulloch's credits include Grimm, Portlandia, Lonelygirl15 and the film Concussion alongside Will Smith and Alec Baldwin. The Man of Steel will bring Lois with him. "Now, at a time when the noble profession of journalism feels under siege, it's a privilege to join the club of actresses who have played the dogged reporter".

"We couldn't be more excited to introduce Lois Lane to the Arrowverse", Supergirl showrunners Jessica Queller and Robert Rovner previously said of debuting the beloved character in the crossover. Lois' father Sam Lane and sister Lucy Lane have also appeared on Supergirl.

The 2018 Arrowverse crossover is shaping up to be a big one, even though it only encompasses three of the five DC superhero shows airing on the CW. "This dogged, determined and courageous reporter will make for a strong partner to Superman and wonderful addition to our universe of DC characters".

As the Arrowverse nears its yearly world-shattering, timeline-twisting, superhero-exhausting crossover event, fans were wondering just how many characters from the DC world would make their way into the three-show-wide extravaganza. Actor Tyler Hoechlin will reprise his role as Superman from CW's Supergirl. This week marks the 25th anniversary of the first episode of ABC's Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.

The three-night Arrowverse crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 9 with The Flash at 8 p.m., then continues on Monday, Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. with Arrow, and concludes on the following night at 8 p.m. with Supergirl.
