Samsung Galaxy Note 9 official video leaked ahead of August 9 launch

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 official video leaked ahead of August 9 launch

Someone in New Zealand got really excited about Samsung's "most powerful phone yet" and has published a pre-order page.

One of the more interesting confirmations of the leak is that Samsung plans to ship the phablet with 512GB of internal storage and the ability to utilise up to 512GB of expandable storage, making it the first consumer smartphone to breach 1TB. However, ahead of the official launch, much has already been leaked online about the next-generation Galaxy Note model.

Excited still? Will there be any surprises come next Thursday? Looks-wise, it doesn't look very different from the Galaxy Note 8, which has been tipped time and again.

The Samsung video starts off by touting the power of the Galaxy Note 9.

However, yesterday, in the United States, the smartphone went into pre-reservation, which highlights the fact that consumers can save up to $450 when they purchase Note 9 if they switch to their current smartphone through the Samsung Trade In campaign. A horizontally-aligned dual camera setup will be included on the back, while a fingerprint scanner will sit below those two cameras.

Women protest as Danish face veil ban takes effect
Amnesty International issued a statement describing the legislation as a "discriminatory violation of women's rights". Muslims account for around 5 percent of Denmark's 5.7 million population.

And guess what: It has a headphone jack! The new model is rumoured to be backed by a 4000mAh battery.

With Bluetooth, there really are few limits as to what Samsung could conceivably do here.

As per a report in SoyaCincau, spotted by Slashleaks, the price of Galaxy Note 9 has leaked. The event will take place on 9 August 2018, seemingly around noon, meaning that we'll likely see the event taking place around 1am on 10 August in Australia's eastern states.

But the official launch is coming next week at Samsung's August 9 Unpacked event, so get your "which rumors were right" Bingo cards ready. However, the internet was quick to notice that the video jumps from Note 5 to Note 8.
