Motorola Moto Z3 Preview

Motorola Moto Z3 Preview

Launched in the United States, the Motorola Moto Z3 supports the company's snap-on accessories, known as Moto Mods.

Another perk of attaching the 5G Moto Mod to the Moto Z3 is that it will give you an additional 2,000mAh of capacity. Google, which had a greater ambition for modular phones and LG, which tried modular phones once, have both given up on the idea. Motorola is adopting 5G connectivity a little earlier than its competitors and has also introduced a Moto Mod that will make this ultra-fast connectivity possible. Just like the other Moto Z devices, the new Moto Z3 also supports Moto Mods.

Moto Z3 features a 6-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and sports an 18:9 aspect ratio.

Powered by the not-so-latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, the Moto Z3 is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

The add-on is Motorola's 18th "Moto Mod" accessory, which people can buy to add some sort of hardware boost to the company's relatively low-cost smartphones.

Expert talks savings on Iowa Tax Free Weekend
Those who live in Loudoun or in other parts of Northern Virginia, where the sales tax is 6 percent, will save even more. For the impulse buyers out there, there is no rule that purchases made during Tax Free Weekend have to be final.

Rear camera: On the back side, the Moto Z3 comes with dual camera setup with a primary sensor of 12-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture and secondary sensor also of 12-megapixel. The smartphone has a 8MP front camera with with 1.12um pixel size and a wide-angle 84-degree lens for selfies and video-calling. However, there is no official announcement for the launch date of Moto Z3 smartphone in India.

Numerous Z3 Play's hallmark features, like its dual-lens cameras capable of shooting in true black-and-white, as well as its 6-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display, return in the Moto Z3.

Moto Z3 ships with Android 8.1 Oreo. The Moto Z3 shows how much Motorola is off the radar this year as the device comes with last year's Snapdragon 835 SoC.

What's preventing out-of-the-box compatibility for all phones that support Moto Mods is unclear at this point, and beyond that, the accessory's release is still months off. Connectivity options in the smartphone include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5.0, Global Positioning System and USB Type-C port. This battery won't be used to increase the longevity of the phone beyond normal 4G usage, but merely keep the 5G radios humming along, as they consume a lot of power. The Moto Z3 comes in only one colour model - Ceramic Black. But it is quite likely that the Moto Z3 will soon launch in India. We're now in Chicago awaiting to see a hardware demo. We at MSP Gear will certainly update our readers as and when new information about these smartphones is available.
