Michael Moore: Trump is the 'Last President of the United States'

Michael Moore is giving an early peek at his upcoming Fahrenheit 11/9 with a trailer (see it below).

Polemical documentary film maker Michael Moore has unveiled the first trailer for his new film Fahrenheit 11/9, a new broadside which charts the rise of Donald Trump from reality show host to office of USA president and his subsequent rule.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the last president of the United States", Moore says in a voiceover as Trump stares into the camera.

The ensuing voiceover goes on to pronounce Trump "the last president of the United States".

Notably, in the trailer Moore is seen delivering a tankload of water from Flint, Michigan, to the home of Michigan Governor Rick Snyder. His new documentary's title is a reference to that film and the day after Trump was voted into office: November 9, 2016. "He has no intention of leaving the White House", Moore told the far-left news outlet. "This is the movie that will end the madness".

For most of us the moment that our pay drops into our account at the end of the month is a moment of a lot of celebration. It's an old piece of information but it never stops to put a smile on my face.

Filming on Moore's new Trump documentary has been done under a strict cloak of secrecy.

-Michael MooreThe ultimate message of film-which Moore describes as a "comedy/horror documentary"-appears to be a bridge between the argument that Trump presents an existential and unique threat and this message to those who oppose him: Stop despairing".

He also added that journalism schools do not teach students how to handle an "authoritarian leader" and hopes that this film shows viewers the "danger" of President Trump where the execution of their jobs is concerned.

The Huffington Post tweeted an exclusive trailer for the film Thursday morning, and it's slated to hit theaters on September 21. "If nothing else, I hope this film exposes that grave danger and shows people the way out".

Take a look. It's not yet known if "Fahrenheit 11/9" will receive an Irish theatrical release.
