'Fix PUBG' is a 3 month dev campaign to address player concerns

"On the landing page, the team admit that "'Fix The Game' is a phrase that we've been hearing a lot lately". "So we think it's time to do something about it", read the update. And it's now going to do something about fixing PUBG. And although the latter has attracted many of its players, PUBG remains a wildly popular game with millions of players around the globe.

The campaign, simply called "Fix PUBG", is meant to address long-standing complaints about the game's performance and player cheating, according to the developer PUBG Corporation.

To that effort, PUBG Corp has launched a website where users can track the progress of specific fixes being worked on for PUBG.

You'll definitely want to check out the FIX PUBG roadmap on this category, as it's quite extensive. So today, we're announcing a new campaign entirely focused on addressing bugs, quality-of-life improvements, and fundamental performance improvements.

PUBG Corp have revealed a promising, yet odd "Fix PUBG" campaign, which aims to tackle major in-game issues and provide a better all round experience. 37 of the fixes are said to have been addressed, tackling simpler and more complex issues.

It mostly consists of fixes and quality of life improvements that will help in improving the experiences of many players.

This new PS4 is a translucent blast from the past
If you're as old as I am, then you'll remember the day Sony launched its first PlayStation way back in 1995 (1994 in Japan). The units will be serialized with a copper plaque on it, though it's hard to think of 50,000 units as a "limited" run.

Noteworthy changes in this patch are the introduction of a sharpening graphics setting, colorblind mode support, frame rate cap settings, reduced vehicle sounds, and a new iteration of limb penetration.

You'll be able to mute individual teammates while in-game.

Quality-of-life improvements are also coming to loot stack splitting (more control).

To start this program, the studio launched a major update on Xbox One and PC, solving several problems that were identified in the roadmap.

You'll also be able to set your in-game FPS cap and lobby FPS cap separately. But before we get to player reactions, here are a few notable things to take from the campaign's webpage: "FIX THE GAME".
