Ahmed Elmohamady nets in Aston Villa’s victory at Hull City

The victory was the ideal way for the Midlands club to start the season, following a tumultuous summer.

Aston Villa shook off a hard close season to make a winning start to the campaign as Steve Bruce's side came from behind to beat his former club Hull City.

Hull City tried to restore their lead, however, the Villans maintained composure and defensive shape, ending the first-half 1-1.

Villa's finances have improved since NSWE, a company jointly owned by billionaires Nassef Sawiris and Wes Edens, came forward last month with a "significant investment".

It also has a 3D face scanning face ID feature (with infrared emitters, similar to the iPhone X) and VOOC fast charge support. In the camera department, it has a 12MP + 8MP dual camera setup with OIS on the rear and a 8MP front camera .

But Villa levelled within seven minutes, Tommy Elphick making the most of slack marking to glance in a deft header from a flawless left-wing Grealish corner.

They still have the transfer deadline to negotiate on Thursday but, despite speculation linking him with a move away from the club, Jack Grealish started last night.

The Egypt worldwide was not done, as in the 75th minute he contributed in his side's third goal of the game, providing an assist to Alan Hutton, who dribbled past Hull's defenders and sent the ball home, making it 3-1.

Ahmed Elmohamady struck against his former club as Aston Villa responded to a summer of uncertainty with a 3-1 victory over Hull in their Championship opener at the KCOM Stadium.
