Rockets reportedly 'determined' to sign Carmelo Anthony

The Houston Rockets re-signed free-agent swingman Gerald Green to a one-year, $2.4 million contract.

Per the report, he has already met with the Houston Rockets and Miami Heat in Las Vegas over the last few days.

Anthony has been part of a Big Three before; he spent last season with the Oklahoma City Thunder, working with Russell Westbrook and Paul George.

First, it was Trevor Ariza bolting for a one-year, $15 million in Phoenix, leaving them without their veteran wing starter.

Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister said the new manufacturing unit is a step towards making India a manufacturing hub. Called as Samsung Electronics facility, this massive plant is spread over 35 acres of land in Noida Sector 81 area.

A marriage between Anthony and the Rockets may actually work as he is good friends with Chris Paul, they need help on the wing, and, as Game 7 of the Western Conference Finals showed, they could use more firepower against the Golden State Warriors.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Carmelo Anthony has waived his no-trade clause and has begun meeting (with the Thunder's permission) with teams interested in acquiring his services this summer. He averaged 7.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 steals a game last season for the Rockets in his 10th National Basketball Association campaign. Anthony is now in the twilight of his career, barely shooting 40 percent from the field with the Thunder past year and averaging a career low in points while putting in his usual effort, or lack thereof, on defense. The Rockets jumped from 26th in points-per-game allowed all the way up to sixth in his one season.

The Clippers on Monday also officially announced the re-signing of guard Avery Bradley, whose deal was reported last week as a two-year, $25 million pact.
