Conte out at Chelsea

Conte out at Chelsea

Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly concluded plans to sell Alvaro Morata in a bid to fund their bid for former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri this summer.

"I'm sorry with Manchester City because we reached an agreement for Jorginho 15 days ago", De Laurentiis is quoted as saying by Sky Sport Italia.

Everyone seems to know who their new manager is going to be, but Leeds United fans will be far more concerned with the impact that Conte's departure could have on their club.

Blues legend John Terry also sent a message to Conte, who he played under in his final season at Stamford Bridge. It's all in the hands of lawyers. However, if the player would rather live in London than Manchester, I can understand that. This may be more of a one-way deal as Sarri is incredibly keen to bring the Belgian to the club however Napoli are unlikely to let one of their star players go, especially given the firepower that title rivals Juventus have just brought in.

Confusion surrounded Conte's future with speculation rife of his exit, but the Italian returned to training for the first day of pre-season this week.

According to President Trump , returning the remains of USA troops was agreed upon during the Singapore summit. The talks had been expected in the demilitarised zone on Thursday.

Sarri will now be confirmed as Conte's successor after Chelsea finally made a breakthrough with Napoli over his release.

The Italian even took training on Thursday morning before news of his sack filtered in.

Sarri, who split his time between banking and playing football before he took up coaching aged 40, has not won a major honour in three years at Napoli but has guided the club to finishes of second, third and second again.

He can operate in a variety of different midfield roles thanks to his work-rate, and accuracy of passing but is generally seen as a creator. This is a make or break summer for the England worldwide; he can either leave and fulfil his potential elsewhere or give it one more shot at Chelsea.
