91-Year-old man beaten with brick, told 'go back to Mexico'

"I'm in so much pain".

A 92-year-old Mexican national visiting his family in Los Angeles was beaten and told to go back to Mexico, according to reports.

Mendoza told CBS Los Angeles that his grandfather speaks little or no English and didn't understand why he was being attacked. "Why are you taking my picture?'" the witness said. Thinking he might have gone for his daily walk, Mendoza wandered around the Los Angeles neighborhood searching for him. Rodriguez is a legal United States resident, according to Independent.

She confirmed that the woman and her fellow attackers made racist comments to Rodriguez. "I just passed her and she pushed me and she hit me until she was done".

"We are concerned, especially with the type of crime they committed", says a sheriff's deputy, noting a 4-year-old child apparently witnessed the attack. 'There was what appears to be a four-year-old child there who witnessed the entire thing. "We can't have these kind of people ... out in the streets".

"And when he turned his back they just tossed him on the floor and she started hitting him, and then she grabbed a brick and started hitting him with the brick, and then out of nowhere he saw 3-4 other guys just come rushing and just start stomping on him", Mendoza explained through a translator to Los Angeles' Fox 11.

Rodriguez, who is a legal USA resident with a multigenerational American family, was reportedly told to go back to his country during the incident, a witness told CBS Los Angeles.

All The Royal Fashion From Prince Louis' Christening
The Queen , 92, and the Duke of Edinburgh, 97, did not attend, in what was described as a "mutual decision" made some time ago. Justin Welby, presided over Louis' christening , just as he did for Meghan's baptism and confirmation.

"When I tried to videotape her with my cell phone, she threw the same concrete block and tried to hit my vehicle".

'She took the block of concrete and hit him in his head many times.

"But that's not true", he said, through tears.

The beating left Rodriguez with several injuries, including a bruised and battered face, a broken cheekbone, head injuries, and bruised ribs. He spent five or six hours in the hospital, he said.

"There's no words to explain it", adds his grandson, who's launched a GoFundMe page to help pay for his grandfather's medical bills; more than $180,000 has been raised so far.

"I'm just overwhelmed how anybody can do this to a human being at all", Mendoza said.
