New Platinum game Babylon’s Fall revealed in Square Enix E3 Showcase 2018

New Platinum game Babylon’s Fall revealed in Square Enix E3 Showcase 2018

Kingdom Hearts III is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One January 25, 2019 in Japan and Asia, and January 29 in North America and Europe.

But again, Square Enix made a decision to show a slightly modified trailer from the Xbox press conference. The teaser was a unusual mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf.

That suggests the transition we saw in the video is how the game works - blending TV show style cut scenes with gameplay.

The new trailer shows off some exciting new abilities and story elements for the game.

Lara Croft was shown stealthily taking out enemies by crossbow in new gameplay footage from studio Eidos Montreal. Square Enix's conference, meanwhile, was supposed to show the publisher back to their best, but instead it showed them at their most complacent. Just Cause 4 is due to launch on December 4th.

In celebration of this new game, the Dragon Quest franchise will also be crossing over with Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius. Final Fantasy XIV is crossing over with Monster Hunter World in an attempt to trap the worst people.

We're also really looking forward to playing the free prequel to Life Is Strange 2, called The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit - which will be released on June 26. Not content jockeying for space inside big first-party press conferences for Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo, they needed stages all to themselves.
