Here's What You Need To Know About Racist NY Lawyer Aaron Schlossberg

The internet shaming has been as brutal as Schlossberg's rant against the Spanish speakers, although the prevailing sentiment on social media is that he deserves it.

In a video captured by NBC, he can be seen wearing a black knit cap and dark sunglasses, anxiously searching for a cab when he realizes there are none in sight.

The New York City attorney who was filmed as he delivered a racist rant at workers of a Manhattan restaurant who were taking orders in Spanish has ties to New Jersey.

"So my next call is to (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) to have each one of them kicked out of my country", he said.

The footage shows a customer berating staff for speaking Spanish at the premises in Manhattan. Someone posted video showing the attorney yelling at restaurant employees for speaking Spanish to two regular customers.

On his way out of the restaurant, the man spins and faces the restaurant employee again and accuses him of hiring undocumented workers.

"I noticed him because of that clip online", one attorney at the Supreme Court in Long Island City said of Aaron Schlossberg.

Espaillat and Diaz, Democrats, called the video "vile" and said "the audacity to profile and verbally assault innocent bystanders and customers in a public commercial location is a violation of our civil society".

The grievance committee will determine what action, if any, should be taken against Schlossberg.

NY1 left a message with the management office for comment.

Neither the man nor the appellate division immediately responded to Reuters' requests for comment.

As the New York Post reported, the video prompted a number of other people to come forward who claimed they had also been harassed by Schlossberg, and other video shows him launching into racist tirades in the past as well.

The Yelp page for his law firm has been bombarded by negative reviews - and a handful of supportive ones - as a result of his inadvertent stardom. "The least they can do is speak English".
