"Jada nor I ever used the word feud, so it just became more of a media creation", Union, 45, revealed on the "Today" show on Monday.

Totally not expecting that response, Pinkett-Smith, as seen in the preview clip, below, was completely taken aback. Jada acknowledges that she overstepped her boundaries in the early days. "She was like, 'Well, you know, me walking in on you and Dad.' I had no idea!" "So he comes and says, 'I want to get her a present.' He wanted to get you a little candle". "And I loved cooking with her and sleeping over".

The first episode kicked off with Jada saying the setup was the table of truth, the table of passion and she was right!

Jada hosts the show along with her mother, Adrienne Banfield-Norris, and her 17-year-old daughter Willow. "'You did this and that's done.' That's where I was wrong". I know that what we do sometimes that we're not as appreciated as we should be. "And that's what we actually talk about on her show - how we got over ourselves, how we both evolved - no feud, just a lot of silence, to come together and creative something really attractive and with a lot of healing". "Willow was giving me a couple of those. But I definitely knew there was a dynamic thing". "Trey's at the house, so I'm calling to talk to Trey, but I had to go through you to get to him".
