Chelsea Exit: Alvaro Morata Agrees Deal To Join European Giants

The Italian has opted to start striker Alvaro Morata who returns from injury in place of Olivier Giroud, while he also brings in goalkeeper Willy Caballero in place of the injured Thibaut Courtois, along with Andreas Christensen, Davide Zappacosta, Pedro, and Willian in a much changed side.

The 25-year-old arrived from Real Madrid last year with big expectations, but he's struggled to settle and adapt with the Blues as he's managed just 15 goals in 46 appearances.

The 25-year-old has attributed his hard form to regular painkilling injections, and hit back at his critics in the process.

He does not believe Morata showed the application or desire to lead the line for Chelsea this season.

"I don't like to comment on speculation", Conte told reporters.

Yaya Toure says Man City will continue winning under Pep Guardiola
I think especially, the Brighton team didn't want me to score but the most important thing was we broke the record, we scored more goals.

The Turin-based paper claims Juve could have some very good chances to sign Morata in the summer if no big clubs enter the race to sign him. Now it is right for everyone to be focused on the present and finish this season in the best possible way. "Not only one player".

Alvaro Morata has been restored to Chelsea's starting lineup for this evening's Premier League meeting with Huddersfield Town at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are now fifth in the Premier League table, and sit two points behind London neighbours Tottenham, with a further three points behind Liverpool who they defeated last season.

The Blues will then take on former coach Jose Mourinho and Manchester United in the FA Cup final at Wembley on 19 May.
