Sea of Thieves charts 5 updates with new mechanics in 2018

Following the launch of Sea of Thieves on Xbox One and Windows 10 last month, developer Rare has been listening to player feedback and released a couple of updates to fix the most important issues with the game.

Rare will also introduce a number of new mechanics to assist players on this new adventure, with additional unique rewards that can be earned through the event. Rare has recently outlined some of the new content that will be coming to Sea of Thieves in the near future. Those more embedded in the Sea of Thieves forums are privy to these conversations, but others are possibly just now learning about these plans. The former will introduce a new ship type, the latter will introduce a new part of the world with new AI threats unique to that area of the world.

"We are hugely excited to be beginning this phase of 'Sea of Thieves, ' and seeing where the adventure takes us", said executive producer Joe Neate. It will introduce what Neate calls "a new AI threat to the world", which will require pirate crews to cooperate if they want to discover and defeat it.

Rare also promises general updates to keep the sailing smooth and the piracy appropriately perilous, and until the new content updates it will be focused on enriching the world, adding new ways to play and to have fun with your crew.

Who Is Neri Oxman?
Pitt was referred to Oxman to work together on an architectural project he had been planning. She filed for divorce from Brad Pitt back in 2016, citing irreconcilable differences.

Another new AI threat will be added to the summer content updated, titled Cursed Sails. The only hint given is that it will introduce new rewards and new mechanics.

"Sea of Thieves" is an online action game where players can form a crew, hunt for treasure, kill skeletons, and engage in other pirate hijinks.

Summer will bring two more content updates with Cursed Sails, which will bring a new type of ship to the game for players to use, and Forsaken Shores, which opens up more of the world for players to pillage. "Expect our plans to continue to be fluid", Rare said. Each update will be free for all "Sea of Thieves" players.
