Police warn of 'well-spoken woman' after Hastings burglaries

A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with multiple vehicle break-ins at Market Common, said Myrtle Beach Police Spokesperson Capt. Joey Crosby.

Police responded to the residence and arrested two transient suspects in front of the home. This information led officers to a home in the 300 block of North Jefferson Avenue, where a resident told them the vehicle had arrived a short time after the burglary was reported. The two suspect are seen on security footage forcing their way into the business and making off with several items.

While patrolling the Market Common area, an officer saw the suspect on a bicycle.

The burglary was reported on Wednesday by a 24-year-old man who noticed property missing from his apartment in the 200 block of South Bassett Street. Police said their investigation into this burglary and others continues and other suspects or arrests have not been ruled out. He has warrants for one count each residential burglary, grand larceny, conspiracy to commit a felony, driving revoked and evade and elude, Bond said.

All of the stolen property that was recovered was returned to the owners, police said.
