Moto G6, G6 Play and G6 Plus renders hit the web

The handset has been listed as sporting an octa-core chip with a maximum operating frequency of 1.8GHz which is widely assumed to be Qualcomm's 450, with the same source also re-confirming the existence of a 5.7-inch "Max Vision" display boasting an elongated aspect ratio of 18:9, i.e. 2:1.

Finally, the Moto G6 Play will be offered in Indigo and Gold colour options according to the renders. Notably, the phone will pack a large 4000mAh battery with TurboPower fast charging support. which is likely its biggest highlight apart from the 18:9 display.

Recently, Moto G6 Play was also spotted in a hands-on video.

The Moto G6 Plus is rumoured to feature a 5.93-inch Full HD IPS display, Snapdragon 630 processor, 6GB RA, 64GB of built-in storage, and a 3200mAh battery. The images showcase the front and back of the device along with some specs shown on the sticker on the display.

Finally there's the cheapest member of the Motorola G6 family. However, the fingerprint sensor has been positioned on the back of the handset.

Separately, tipster Ishan Agarwal posted some renders of the Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play that keep in line with what we have come to see. In the camera department, the smartphone is likely to feature the same dual-lens camera setup as the Moto G6. The fingerprint scanner could be embedded in the home button at front and while the device is expected to sport with a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary along with a 5-megapixel secondary sensor, at the front, there could be a 12-megapixel sensor with LED flash.

The leaked image has not revealed anything about the operating system but it is expected to run on Android Oreo out of the box. A recent online listing pegs the G6 at $250 (approx Rs 16,300), while the G6 Play may be priced at $200 (approx Rs 13,000). Not much else is known about the Plus model as yet. The leaked image reveals the overall design and look of the smartphone, leaving the price a mystery itself, which is expected to be revealed on April 19.
