White House refuses to blame Russia for poisoning of Russian spy

Sarah Huckabee Sanders gave a total non-answer today when asked if the Trump Administration would condemn Russian Federation over the news that the Kremlin is a prime suspect in the recent attack against former spy-turned-double agent Sergei Skripal.

Sanders spoke shortly after British Prime Minister Theresa May told British lawmakers that either the government of Vladimir Putin was directly behind the attack, or Moscow "lost control of this potentially catastrophically damaging nerve agent and allowed it to get into the hands of others".

"We've been monitoring this incident closely, taking it very seriously", Sanders opined.

The White House on Monday condemned the poisoning of an ex-Russian spy in the United Kingdom earlier this month but declined to say whether Moscow was responsible. "The use of a highly unsafe nerve agent against United Kingdom citizens on United Kingdom soil is an outrage. The attack was reckless, indiscriminate and irresponsible". "I think they're still working through even some of the details of that", Sanders said.

"Like I just said", Sanders interrupted, repeating herself, "we stand with our ally and we fully support them and are ready if we can be of any assistance". Skripal and his daughter remain in critical condition.

Celtics guard reportedly tears tendon in thumb
According to Yahoo Sports , point guard Marcus Smart suffered a torn tendon in his right thumb and will be out indefinitely. What we're really focused on now is making sure that knee feels as good as possible heading into April.

Mr Skripal and his daughter are still being treated in hospital after falling ill in Salisbury.

The British government has given the Kremlin until Wednesday to respond to the allegations and said it would implement retaliatory sanctions if Russian Federation is found to be responsible. Instead, Sanders said the administration is condemning the attack and "standing with our ally". "You can only ask so many times", he told reporters in November.

The White House did not go that far on Monday.

The attacks come with the Trump administration now under investigation over allegations it colluded with Russian Federation during the 2016 presidential election.
