Timo Werner Makes Decision On His RB Leipzig Future

Timo Werner Makes Decision On His RB Leipzig Future

Now the RB Leipzig forward has confirmed where his future lies.

United, Liverpool, Madrid and Bayern Munich have showed interest in the striker, but he intends to stay till next season.

He was also awarded the golden boot for the most goals at the Confederations Cup previous year, as is expected to play a big role as Germany look to defend their World Cup title in Russian Federation this summer. The interest from the Red Devils is, thus, a bit surprising, unless Mourinho is considering deploying Werner in the wide areas.

The 22-year-old Germany worldwide has attracted interest from major clubs in Europe. For now though Leipzig will be keeping hold of him. But, there is very little attacking quality beyond the trio, especially following the departure of Philippe Coutinho in January, explaining why Liverpool are taking a keen interest in Werner.

But before that we get to see the trailer that is arriving in two days, that its lead star had promised. In fact, he even tweeted a still from the film, saying it's the toughest role he has played till date.

"Manchester United and Liverpool were the teams I watched quite a lot in England".

Werner is under contract in Germany until 2022 and has previously expressed his desire to play in the Premier League.

"Playing in the Premier League is a dream for me", he told FourFourTwo.

Werner is one of Europe's hottest properties after shining for RB Leipzig since joining the Bundesliga side in 2016. "I would like to play for two or three clubs, and Manchester United are one of those clubs".
